The Ecoworkshops database is building and advancing. We are fielding calls and emails from the field sector for exhibition in Spain (principally Marbella) and then to connect with other groups and develop understanding and benchmarks for the products and services available.
The overwhelming need is information about the degree to which a product is ecological and what are its advantages and disadvantages. Even disdvantages can still be better than the alternative, non-ecological version.
Areas we are contacting presently are foods, sanitation, and information, as we are preparing courses in the subjects related, working with professionals and teachers in Marbella for ecotourism, hospitality, and recycling.
Spain has proved the most advanced in this field again in 2008, selling 80% of its products in the ecological market to Germany. (SurinEnglish Dec 2008)
We welcome suggestions of products to include and submissions of information and latest developments.
