Solar Power works by harnessing the heat or the energy of the sun. However there are various ways of doing this.
Many Panels work by capilliary action, that is by heating water in tiny tubes under the surface of the panels and storing the heated water. A very simple and effective method if you have plenty of clear sunshine.
This is also used in the same way to heat interiors by piping the hot water to radiators around the dwelling or environment.
This works very well for Southern Climates and especially in Spain and the Costa del Sol.
It is one of the subsidised forms of solar heating offered for new build and renovation of homes in Andalucia.
